INVITING EVERYONE AND THEIR WHIPS TO JOIN OTHER CAR ENTHUSIASTS AT UNITED ARTISTS TO WATCH "FAST AND FURIOUS". This movie will be coming out on the 3rd of April, however there will be a meet in the parking lot of the theatre at 9:00 pm. Not all cars will be 350z's SO ALL CARS ARE WELCOME (but dont roll in with your grandma's car, unless she drives something with over 237 hp :whistle: gotta put a benchmarks S2k's can clear :cheesy: ) There is a Starbucks there, a Goldsteins Bagel, and some other resturants (a Burger King 5 minutes away walking distance as well as New Moon, pretty expensive place for the high rollers who like chinese food).

Oh then i guess you havent heard of the VQ35HR... The V Tec kicks in at 5k LMAOOOO... naw its the right forum. This is going to be a CAR ENTHUSIAST meet/outing/event its a place were Honda and Nissan and other car manufacterers are pretty much dead even... The car turned off and parked It'd be nice to get a few 350z's out there... or any gen Z for that matter.

 

There are police everywhere you go, just don't draw attention to yourself and there won't be much you have to worry about... We have had a meet in that lot already with no problems. If you don't feel comfortable don't come - or come in a friends car...

 

a LOT of that movie was filmed right by my old apt out in san pedro (paseo del mar). i was on set for a bunch of takes and some really nice cars were there and met a bunch of the actors and ate about 6 meals all catered haha. really cool people... i was flagged down and waved in to the lot and prepped for a scene cause of my car was kitted hahahaa.... i told the security my **** was no way in hell ready for a movie clip. but i was introduced to everyone and given 2 set passes and was told to try and be ready for casting call next year lol

that theater sucks. no rocking seats... small screens. unless they remodeled because its been a few years since i have been there.. (lived in la crescenta for 18 years)

 

i think that the best place to actually hold this kinna meet and be able to hold some decent parking spots WITH a great theater and rocking seats would be at the Del Amo mall out in torrance. NEW amc there with awesome new sound technology and speaker positioning

 

I'm sure there will be a showing this year at the Block. Last year they hired personal security to watch over the cars and we rented out 2 theaters. No tickets, until you pulled out of the parking lot..

Well the theatre is small and all, but thats whats good about La Canada/La Crescenta its pretty safe... It hasnt ben remodeled or anything, but until they announce something then it will be as planned.

 

meaning until there are announcements for other events (backed by other theatres) we will be meeting here. Nice place for people from Northridge to MOnrovia to LA and anywhere in between.

there will be an official announcement for the viewing (I'll post something when it happens). last year, there were like 200+ cars, closed off parking, security guards etc..

 

i dont like Glendale PD... la crescenta sheriff is pretty cool, but glendale pd patrols la crescenta, and theyre... not too nice
