So I hop onto the 55 and the CHP is still tailing my ***. I exit off of Grand and the cop pulls up next to me and says," I got a call in about you and all your buddies saying that YOU were getting wild on the road. Everyone has cell phone's these days and we get calls in all the time so take it down a couple notches."
Even though I was driving totally normally, got profiled as the "ring leader" of the group and accused of driving "wild" on the road; I just nodded my head and said, "thank you" and he just took off and I went my own way.

The cops just giving you crap because your car looks hella crazy. I bet there's no calls or anything. They do that stuff all the time. I get it here and there for tint, exhaust, blah blah blah... but good to hear he didn't hand out any tickets though.

That's good to hear i was hoping he wouldnt start handing out tickets, btw to be honest i really didn't think we were driving all crazy and what not. Therefore i call B.S on the calls about us driving crazy. You should have rolled with us to the beach we had a great time man.

THERE WERE A COUPLE OF DRIVERS DRIVING PRETTY CRAZY, I can see if someone called it in. Poor Andy and the most Vibrant color of us all, lol. I pulled up next to him with the 
face. Of course I have the Colorado plates I wasn't sweating quite as much.

For those who showed up, can you guesstimate how many s2k's showed up?
They caused such a scene by taking over the display area that they had to change the rules of the meet going forward.
The below statement was released by the organizers onto several cars and coffee forums:

All,
I just returned from Cars&Coffee. Way too many "normal" cars in the display area. We had to close the "Display" lot at 7:15am because of overcrowding. Today was not the vision of C&C. We have decided to "re-calibrate" Cars&Coffee, starting next Saturday Feb 7th and future Saturdays, only "pre" 1978 and "Special Classic Automobiles" will be allowed into the "Display" lot. All others will be directed towards the "Spectator" lot and parking structure. There is a new "Every Saturday" car show starting in Orange County that may appeal to many enthusiasts starting March 7th at the "Orange County Market Place". Please pass the word.
