Where in the original post does it say that they have not paid the rent?

 

I was thinking the same thing as I went through the posts.

 

What does paying the rent have to do with anything? They are not leaving, which is the problem. And without a lease, who's to say what the deal was? One party can say 6 months and the other can say 2 years. You guys telling the op's mom to throw their stuff out is hilarious. They can get lawyer and tie you down with crap for months.

At this point as much as I'd love to throw these people out on the street, we are going to follow some of the tips provided in this thread and speak with an attorney/lawyer to find out exactly what our options are. It is unfortunate that things have to come to this but hopefully it is a lesson well learned.

For informational or entertainment purposes, I will continue to update this thread as we begin the whole eviction process.
