Unless my Z is outfitted with the complete Veilside wide body kit, black & silver two tone, and bug vinyls, I just won't feel right going.

I will definitely be there for the premiere, but more than likely I won't be taking my car. As much as people say the movie is rice, I will admit it is entertaining to watch..... almost any movie with cars Despite everyone's rants, you all know you guys will be there too.

*** now I recall, remember HIN events @ the LA convention center, the police would pull over tons of people all night, even people who showed, they would be chillin till after HIN ended and bust tons of people, even the guys showing. I showed my brother's 94 supra from 2003-2005 and trying to hide a huge car like that from the cops when it shoots occasional flames is a tough task ***

If police can raid local sanctioned events like HIN, a huge meet at the Block would definitely be local law enforcement's wet dream esp. In our recession more revenue for broke cities

My buddy with a mk4 supra got a referee ticket there, bike cop told him to pop his hood and saw his t-68 turbo... since then I don't think I've ever driven a modded car there. OC is pretty strict and **** im pretty sure its 10x worse worse than now.

Goodluck and hope you guys have a good turnout though just hope no ricers within or outside of the group mess it up
We're talking about tftf here. Of course there will be ricers!!

yea i can understand being worried about theft, police, and all that other crap but the previous events have been very successful with little to no problems. no one will be within our group unless you pay dues. outsiders will not be welcomed. i think valet will be hired to direct traffic and to make sure you are with us. since im not heavily modded im not worried about going but yea i probably wouldn't go if i was or i'd take another car.

I don't understand how you intend to keep people away and charge for parking in what I assume to be a PUBLIC parking lot? Maybe I am missing something...

the $15 you pay is for secured parking (Pre-Arranged Private Self Parking via Valet or Private Lot Area). the host of the this event has being doing this for a while now. no need to be so worried. he just put this together:

http://www.rsasupra.com/fnf4.php

heres where everything started: http://www.supraforums.com/forum/sho...d.php?t=511693

and here is some previous history:
1st Meet: 90 Cars (46 MKIV Supras) 225 people
2nd Meet: 150+ Cars (90 MKIV Supras) 300+ people
3rd Meet: 200+ Cars (60+ MKIV Supras) 450 people

I just don't like the fact knowing wile i"m watching the movie some young kid is gonna be oggling over my car touching it and what not and taking pics of my license plate to steal some of my stuff later. I'm very pick about where I park my car either and I don't know if i want some civic to park next to my nice Z that I've spent plenty of hours and money on by making nice and getting a door ding from that POS Pics of that red supra with the white pos hatchy next 2 it just sold me on that idea. Also doesn't look like organized parking... just my 2 cents...
