Installing springs was a pain in the azz. Those damn spring compressors i rented out suck. It takes alot of effort if youre doing it by hand with a ratcheting wrench. I wish i had air tools...and coilovers
trust me aloh, air tools won't help much either with the shiety spring compressors you rent from autozone. i had air tools when i did mine... all it did was twist the spring out of the ends and it was a pain... and you need a big compressor too. haha.
What does Pete have on his Z? I have the eibach pro kit. nice ride... 1 inch drop. Gonna get the tokico adjustable dsp shocks later from my friend. I think it's the best combo. But might not be low enough for some ppl. I just don't want to keep scraping stuff and have to go sideways across every speedbump. Plus, it's already stiffer... with the adjustable shocks... it should be plenty for track day.
Go with Swift springs, zeals uses them for their coilovers... But tanabe gf210 or nf210 are good enough if you just want to eliminate some gap between your fender & wheel. Price is decent too.
