Default I Was Being Followed!!

To all Socal members. Beware of a latest generation Silver Toyota Celica with two different set of rims front and back. It have a shark fin type of vent on the front fender and euro brake light which makes the car really easy to notice. Believe the driver is an Asian male with short hair and about 5'10" in height. If you seem the car please watch out as they are definitely up to no good.

Here's the story.
I was being followed by this car today around 2:30pm today after I got out of a restaurant in city of Walnut. At first I didn't think there's anything unusual, as they were just standing next to their car talking. However, right after I pull out of the parking lot. They started to follow me while trying to make sure that I didn't notice. But there are some turns that I took which makes it really obvious that they are definitely following me. I finally lost them by making a quick turn into a plaza and they are unable to turn in with me. I parked the car walk into a bakery full of people and called the police. But what do you know. They made a U-turn and came back to look for me again. They parked the car and 3 guys walk out. One Asian guy and two black guys. I guess they found out that I already saw them so they walked into a dry cleaning store. I quickly got into the car and drove off. They didn't follow me afterward but it was pretty scary and definitely a first for me. Good thing nothing bad happened as my gf was with me at the time. Who knows what those XXXXers will do if I didn't realized that I was being followed.

I don't know the reason why I was being followed but I am assuming that they are after my rims or my car?

I made this thread for mostly to inform people so please chime in if you have any other information or have similar situation happened to you and sorry if my story was a bit hard to understand.

Btw. The 911 called was not much of a help as the person on the phone told me to call back if I got followed again.

wow that cop operator was an idiot. lol what if the next time you were followed was too late. but i'll also keep a look out, that's really strange why they would follow you plain in the afternoon ... make sure you think of something that you would do if the next time this happens, i mean if it happened once, it's likely they'll run into you again.

Scary stuff. Don't want to get you paranoid, but they can get lots of information from your license plate.

Glad you're ok OP. You did the right thing by calling the cops. Who knows what they were up to.

<---Waits for guys to chime in and say "I would have waited for them and beat those fools down."

While this seems like a good idea, they say that you should not do this. They say drive to a very populated and well lit business. If you go to a police station, it may not even be open. Substations in most areas are not open after regular business hours. I can imagine rolling up to the station, cornered in the parking lot and I run up to a locked door.

Yeah. I was followed once and it is very hard to think clearly in that type of situation. I drove to a neighborhood where some friends were waiting for me (not at a specific house) and I pulled up to like 20 ppl waiting for me in a field and the other truck (3 guys inside) took off as soon as they saw where I was going! It worked, but I thought "It would have been cool to go to a police station and get the mfers at least scared if not asked for an explanation." A police officer told me why it wasn't the best idea.

I think only the dispatch office and jail/holding areas are likely to be open after hours. I just found this out recently.

I would personally just call 911 and tell them where I am on a well lit highway. At least where I live, they will be pulling the **** over in 60 seconds. We called 911 about a really bad drunk driver and they were doing a field sobriety test in less than 3 minutes.
