Default Just getting plain sick of it...any reliable maintenance/service shops?

My car was getting a major service done at West Covina Nissan over the weekend and I picked it up yesterday. Got back home and had to leave again and my car was dead as a doornail. Called Triple A to jump it and after leaving it on for 45 minutes and turning it off the car wouldn't turn on again. It wasn't until I noticed this morning that all the presets on my radio fm tuner had been changed to spanish stations. I think where the problem comes from goes without saying...

When I picked up my car yesterday, they returned it with the car running and told me not to turn it off until i got home.

For a major service, I feel like this is very irresponsible behavior by the service department. I switched over to west covina for better service after receiving low quality service from performance nissan, not to mention the ipod that was stolen from my car (many of you guys remember the thread).

quite honestly, im sick of the careless people at a lot of these nissan dealerships. anyone know any places that have good pricing and treat their customers like customers?

the triple A guy also informed me that the battery had been dead for awhile. it was pretty obvious that they had jumped my car before they gave it back to me and had not informed me of doing so.

i used to work at WCN part-time and honestly, those tech guys are pieces of ****..

once, they "tested" for oil consumption and i watched my car sit in the lot for 2 hours. they returned it to me without ever popping the hood..

another time, i got my clutch slave/master cylinders replaced and discovered that they had broken the power mirror controls.

service is good there, but that has NOTHING to do with those retards sitting in the back..

I would recommend that you take it back to West Covina and talk to Tim since you already paid for the service.

He took care of me when I went to get the Rear-Axle click taken care of after 4 other dealerships refused.

He is a member on the site too: Tim@WestCovinaNissan

Other than Tim, I wouldn't recommend anyone else other than Ed & team at Precision Z in Pacoima.

He might be a little bit of a drive for you, but he is low car friendly and an overall awesome dude, not to mention he is a site sponsor as well.

Good luck man..
