It's a sad day today as CBS radio is pulling the plug on FM's only talk-radio station and replace it with the Top 40 format. Say goodbye to Corolla (I prefer Kevin & Bean), Frosty, Heidi, and Frank (love 'em), Professor Tom Leykis (can be annoying sometimes, but great entertainment), and the rest of their line up.

Donno how many of you out there actually tune in to these guys, but they had provided me years of entertainment and made the commute a bit easier.

 

Yeah, I heard something abou that. I prefer Kevin and Bean too. They are freakin funny. I like how they have their Cinco de la Tarde bit now. I couldn't stand Tom Leykis. The sound of his voice annoyed me.

 

To many damn commercials! Just when the discussions were heating up, BAM commercial. Dumb Shotgun Bail Bonds or Attorney.

 

commercials.. that's exactly why I haven't listen to the radio in years. I have no idea who kevin teh bean head or frost bite is. I just know they used to play classic rock about 15 years ago.

 

Damn I remember listening to howard stern on 97.1.

I heard the last hours of the station. I sucks, I liked the station. Do we really need another KIIS FM Clone? Oh well, I guess The Professor cost too much!

Didn't agree with all of Tom Leykis' views, but he was hilarious at times. He thrived and made so much money from his core audience of morons lol.

 

Well.. I still listen to Love Line.. the morning talk on 102.7 and power 106 is pretty funny at times.. specially Ryan's Roses.. keeps me awake on the way to work

 

Dang, I just listen to kfwb for the new and traffic on AM now... traffic sucks... need updates every 10 minutes on the 1's. hahaha.

I liked BigBoy on power 106. Does he still do Luther and prank calls random ppl? hahaha... that shiet was funny.
