i was wondering if one of you guys can help me. I need to get a smog check so I can get my car registered. I am running a injen cai for an 04 and they are asking me for some carb number. I can't seem to find it. Anyone know where I can get a hold of it?

 

They might need the carb-EO number that shows that that particular intake is smog legal...which i don't think it may be . I think only the stillen or JWT have them. I don't even think the nismo one was carb legal. Best bet switch back to stock airbox , smog and switch back.

Aww man I am looking on the site and it seems its carb legal in some states except california, but not sure though. Does anyone have a stock box I can borrow for a day? haha Is it a beezy to put on and off? I know the intake is.

 

I had the AEM one and I believe that was Carb Legal... but full intake shouldn't be too bad to install.. took me 30 min before and I didn't know jack **** how to install anything..

u should just invest in a JWT..

I know. After reading around I hear the jwt is one of the better ones to get, with most added hp. I would have probably got that if my car did not come with the injen intake when I got it.
