hey how much are camping anyways..

M6, what bout the beach one???
as for gears... what else do I need? I have a Simpson Tent, 1 Butterfly knife, my piece, 2 BICs, ipod, "pepsi", clothe, toothbrush n all that... do we bring food for couple days? cause.. I'm gonna get some serious munchies and earthquake food isn't gonna do it..

tony please read the original 1st post... camping rules and regulations... each person will give me their $40 buy in at the beginning of the trip and that will pay for EVERYTHING you need EXCEPT beer and alcohol unless we have enough funds to furnish that as well...

max cash per person is $40
how it all works PROPERLY...
at the beginning of the trip everyone will give me their $40 and we will pay for all NECESSARY food, drinks (soda/water/OJ
), and the camping spot (like $25 a day if i remember correctly)... the remaining amount of the cash will be split up evenly AFTER the trip is over... those that do NOT stay the full 2 days do NOT get change. we do it this way so everyone pitches in evenly... this $40 you put in does NOT go towards alcohol, that is separate budget considered personal expense.

la jolla campground is a beautiful place (well pauma valley in its entirety is a beautiful place)... there's a gorgeous river running through the whole campground with crystal clear, clean water... full of big boulders and rocks to walk on/sit on.. hell the river is so shallow at most points you can just wade in .. and yes i found myself standing in the middle of the river having a *moment* in the middle of my trip LOL...
ive been to the ventura campgrounds.. they're definitely decent.. it's nice cuz it's close to the beach
see that's why i wanted to take more next time... to experience more open-eyed hallucinations..i had a few, like.. rocks were pulsing.. inanimate things looked like they were breathing (swelling, going down, swelling, etc) but believe me it's not all just sitting around thinking... i wandered around the giant campsite just tripping on everything..it just makes you feel SO GOOD... everything is good.. nothing is bad!!! plus most everyone else was rolling or faded in some other way so interactions with other people were hilarious and great... and there was music all over the place.. DJs and gigantic sound systems to stand in front of and feel the beat in your body.. pretty amazing.
ok i need to stop talking about it, it's making me sad
