I have owned my Z since it first came out in 2003, of course limited to colors i got the silver everyone else had... I've had nothing but fun in this thing aside from the axle clicking noise (which was fixed by performance in '04 under warranty), the weird rattling noise that comes from the gauges so i have to turn up my music to avoid it during dates and the normal but clunky noisy tranny.. This car suprisingly held up well after a good 6 years of owning the thing. Been reliable and fun and i was suprised since i am a die hard Toyota fan seeing how much abuse my brother's '94 supra took......
So i noticed my tranny was grinding as i downshifted highspeeds from 6th to 5th and had a hard time putting it into 3rd at times.. mostly the 6th - 5th grinding action really got to me because it was very constant...
But anyways, John with the service department at Performance was always a really nice, energetic and polite individual. He was able to help me get my new transmission which was serviced under warranty (i purchased the extended version years ago).
Awesome guy and took care of me in a very professional and timely manner.
Thanks again and props to John Kuo of Service and Performance Nissan of Duarte.

Thanks for the love, Ben. I just want everyone to know that John Kuo has been here for over a year now. John has a highly experienced background when it comes to the aftermarket and tuner car game. He was running the show at SP Engineering for almost 10 years and has worked hand-in-hand with majority of the car's that SP Engineering has built so he is no newbie to the scene. Just check out the Soarer that he had built, which was his last project car before leaving SP Engineering.

Since I walked in to Performance Nissan to have my Nissan Altima fixed, John have been very caring and focused on their customer's needs unlike most other service representatives trying to convince or sell unnecessary parts to your vehicle.
I am a struggling college student and a musician trying to make it through this time especially the economy. I bought my car used in 2004. Ever since then, I brought my car to various repair shops but always had other problems afterwards. After I brought it to Performance Nissan, they would tell me all the maintenance and driving advice and necessary fixes that need to be done to the car. My car has been running great every since without any problems until recently due to the long mileage I drive to my school internships. The alternator was malfunctioning.
I brought my car in to Performance Nissan and met John, a very friendly and personable service advisor who believe in meeting every needs the customer requested and beyond. For me it was car problem and financial resources due to unemployment and struggling in the music industry especially in this economy and I had to make it back to camarillo from Duarte on the same day I brought my car in for service.. Originally advised me several options which fits best within my limited resource. My car's alternator needs to be switched because it's not working anymore and alternator belt needs to be switched also due to wear and tear from driving long distance.. John originally had quoted me with a total price near $400 but I am a struggling 1st generation student in the U.S. with limited help so John had a good heart to help a struggling individual and lowered everything down to $320 which you would not get at any other dealership service/repairs. And I've been bring my car to Performance Nissan since 2004 and they also have been providing dependable car repair/services. I did not spend that much on car fixing since I brought my car to Performance Nissan as they and I am independent and surviving as a musician and student. John Kuo will be there for you to help if you're a struggling student/individual to meet your needs for your Nissan regardless of all the obstacles that he have to go through to get you the lowest price and best parts on your vehicle and have dedicated service technicians to have your car ready at the time best for you. I am now an official customer of John Kuo.
