I like this story the best Classic. We should just get a bunch of people to prank them somehow.

"I spent all day researching the best price for a Nikon D200 And ontimedigital.com had the best price by far... Except for their accessories which were priced 300 times more than MSRP. I was okay with that though cause i was going to buy my accessories elsewhere. I thought i had 'em licked... I called before i placed the order to make sure they had it in stock. When i called the guy was pleasant enough until he tried to drop the bomb on me by saying it didn't come with a battery or charger! BUT i already figured they would try to pull that so i said i already had one- small fib but i had found one for $13 which is a a lot better than their quoted $300. As soon as i said i already had a battery he promptly hung up on me. I called back and he hung up on me again! I printed out a list of companies that were affiliated with ontimedigital and i will never shop with them again."

o and apparently these are all the same company:

www.86photovideo.com

I'm pretty sure it was one of these that I mistakenly ordered from. They're more-than-likely the same place.

I ordered a flash and got the typical, "Call us to verify..." email. I called them and got the hang up dealio. "Accidental disconnection" (Right!).

When I finally got ahold of the guy, he asked me what kind of camera I had and I told him it didn't matter, I wasnt' buying a camera. He then proceeded to call me rude and asked if I was the expert, blah, blah, blah. Then I hung up on him. I'm pretty sure that's the only time I've hung up on anyone. It was pretty satisfying. I still find it hard to believe that there are people this crooked. May the fleas of a thousand camels infest his armpits.
