What's going on everyone..

Recently (6 mos ago) moved to SoCal from CT and of course have noticed the plethora of ridiculous cars around here... as well as the high number of exotic rental companies. Have always wanted to rent something crazy for a day yet it of course is really expensive. The more I look into it however the more it seems that place to place the prices vary GREATLY.

With that said, anyone know of any places in the greater LA area that have good deals?? Definitely looking at the Italians here as far as car types go.. not looking to spend 500 a day or whatever to rent a Carrera S or anything. A 360, 355, 430, gallardo, murcielago, etc, would all be fun of course..

so ya, in general just looking to find the cheapest exotic rental place out there. I know there are considerations like mileage and whatnot but they all seem to be pretty similar regarding that, usually giving you 125 miles or so.

Any help/suggestions appreciated!!

There are companies in the Wilshire district, Beverly Hills and Santa Monica where you can rent exotic cars, but they are around $700-1k a day, where you only get to drive 100 miles in one day... that's it. Plus you have to purchase their special insurance which is about $200 a day. You can rent a Ferrari, but it's usually an older model rarely any modenas or even higher than that... I've seen Porsche Carreras... but not the higher GTs. The Lambos are like $1k-2k a day... but that's up to you if its even worth it.

 

I've actually found a site that gets you higher end exotics... but you're not going to like the prices.

this is a san diego based company (one of my friends is a part owner), but their prices are killer, and as stated above they do depend on the type of vehicle you select. $500 a day will not get you a lambo or ferrari anywhere.

see... that's the thing.. i've seen the relatively obvious ones just didnt know of anyplace that had good deals... for instance, that sight i showed you up top was 1250 for 24 hours with a 6spd murcielago... that's not exactly "cheap" but is an experience you wouldn't soon forget you know??

which of course your in a group so cant just go and do whatever but the cost is much cheaper... i imagine they have something like this out here in LA as well..

again, no **** its not cheap, but if i can rent a ferrari 360 spider for 800 a day instead of 1500 a day that's a HUGE difference you know?? so ya, basically was just looking for any places that are cheap.. this SD place might be worth looking into.
