Picked up the 3G S

Its noticeably faster...
Other than that the video cam is cool
Compass is good but will render itself useless cuz I dont need it.
Voice commands work pretty well, so far so good.
Camera auto-focus is so-so.


Other than that, the 32GB is awesome; but it is worth the extra $$$??

thats up to yall... i paid a total of $100 plus tax to get it.

Was trying to get the 3GS today but everywhere it's sold out. Gonna switch from Verizon to AT&T and get the damn iPhone, I want f*cking INTERNETS!

I walked into a store midday on the day it came out without a pre-order... waited 10 mins in line and got a 32gb in the palm of my hands with little to no effort .

How did you get the 32GB for $100? I saw the Bing/ATT 35% rebate thing but that brings the 32gb iPhone to $199. How did you save $100 more?

Well I bought a 3G for $199 the friday before it was announced that the price will drop and the 3Gs comes out... So since I bought a 3G within 14 days of the release announce date... i'm eligible for a trade in for the 16gb for no extra charges... but I got the 32gb so slapped down an extra 100

So your outta luck on that, but still iphone > storm and all other vz phones

 

Hmmm...I purchased my iphone 3G 8 gig on 5/29...am I eligible for the trade/update? I dunno when the release announce date was...

just jailbroke my 2gen phone, with no problems, I cant wait to pick me up the "S"

 

Ill probably pick up the S when they figure out a jailbreak for it. Until then, im sticking with my 8gb 2g lol

 

Just to update this thread, we've had over 6 million downloads for the 3.0 OS and over 1 million 3GS phones sold since last Wednesday. Work is f'in crazy and we have been working 12 hour days because of it. Pockets are getting fat though so it's cool.

Also for original iphone owners who are eligible for upgrade in July/August/ or September you can upgrade now at the subsidized contract price. Early upgrade FTW.

For those who may have purchased a 3G from like the middle of May until June 10th can swap to 3GS at no charge through ATT. They are doing 30 days out I think(so May 9th or after).

Voice commands on the 3G S are accurate 95% of the time compared to other phones that have the feature...

 

I'm more interested in ATT finaly lowering their monthly a whole 10 bucks.

Man...I ordered my 3Gs on Tuesday and the status is "In Progress"...they've been processing my Iphone order for 4 days!...anyone else going throught this?

I just wish AT&T would just say that they're out of stock rather than saying that they're "processing" my order...it dosen't take a week to do that...
