I have never been to a junkyard and since I have nothing to do for a while, I wanted to check some out. Do you guys know of any junkyards around the oc area? I tried looking it up but didnt find anything. I want to see if I can find some parts for my z or possibly be able to pick up a project car. Maybe im searching for the wrong thing, but I can only think of scrapyard and junkyard. Any other places where f'ed up cars and car parts might be? Thanks.

Junkyards around here rarely have "project cars", they tend to have old beat up imports that are stripped to practically a shell. Only useful really if you're looking for parts for an older car, I've never seen anything close to a 350z at a junkyard. But these are the ones up in San Fernando Valley, I don't know about any in the OC.

theres one in duarte/irwindale area. its called pick-a-part. its pretty fun to go there, thats where i learn to take things apart with my dad. lol.. he'd give me a set of tools and i'd go crazy! lol

anyways... for project cars.. theres some at that location.. not the best condition but what would you expect for a car under a grand lol. there is also a street near by "alpha" which has many car dismantlers which has "project" cars. i was going to pick up a 97 golf for a dd at one time since it was super cheap, but i never got it

I drove by a civic/integra meet last weekend and it looked like a junkyard.
