Default Debadged...

Well tonight i finally worked up the courage to de-badge my z, but if u look at it in the right light u can see the "imprints" the 350z badge on the rear hatch had made. how do you remove these imprints? detailing the car? clay bar? wax on wax off? O_O!

I used this thing called goo gone on my old accord when I debadged it. Didnt hurt the paint, just smells really bad but does the work of getting that sticky sticker like imprint of the car.

i got that sticky stuff off, by imprint i mean you can kinda see where the badge used to be and make out the 350 z.

I know what you mean, kind of like the car got a sun burn type thing? where you can only see it at a certain angle. I removed mine a couple of months back, left it alone, and now you cant see it. As far as a quick fix, IDK, sorry cant help with that.

Try clay bar or wet sanding it, never debadged before, but I'm sure it won't hurt trying.

I went 350z-emblemless for about a week and couldn't get rid of the ghost effect.

I ended up painting the emblem black with some brosefs and reattaching it.

Unless you have a convertible, there are holes behind the Nissan badge on the coupe version.
