Another Speeding Ticket

Ive had the z for about 17 to 18 months, but only recently, within the last 3 months, I have gotten 2 speeding tickets. The first one I got was towards the end of sept, and I just got one today. I paid the first ones amount, but didnt start traffic school yet. The courts will never pick up and are always busy, so I can't schedule or find out more info on traffic school. I wanted to ask, will I automatically get a point on my record since I got two tickets within 3 months? Im pretty stressed out and don't know what to do. Also, the officer put down my court date appearance as 2/11/09 instead of 10. Don't know if that justifies the ticket as invalid haha. Anyways, I want to know if I will get a point on my record and if there is any way I can fight a speeding ticket. Thanks. Btw, im pretty much just venting here cuz I feel sad.

I had the same situation about a year ago (date on ticket) the Chp will usually send out a correction letter and the date will be changed to 2/11/10. I think you can do the traffic school online but I have no idea how many points they take off your record.
It comes with the territory bro, keep you head up and slow down a bit.

I don't usually drive fast. Both times I have been caught because I am trying to get ahead of someone who is going slow. Today, i was driving on the right lane, and another guy on my left. Our two lanes merge, but we were both going side by side, so I sped up to prevent hitting the guy, since he wasn't slowing down, neither was I. While I was speeding up and getting ahead of him, the cop saw me.

O btw, he asked for my license and he wrote down the address on the license, and I have since then moved to santa ana. Am I able to change the mailing address by calling the court that is on the ticket? If not, who can I contact to get the mailing address changed to my current address?

That usually happens in our cars when we do that, especially if the car not letting you in is a POS. That's how I got my ticket last year on the 57 fwy northbound.
Edit
Just call the number on the ticket and tell them where to mail it.

I'm nearly 50 and notice the attention from law enforcement that the Z gathers.
My daily driver is an Xterra SUV which has a whopping 30 less ponies under the hood and there are times when I use all of them in traffic to avoid someone driving under the limit pinching me off as the road changes. I hate people that drive 30-35 in a 45 mph stretch of road - normally talking on the cell phone (still).
I drive the Z to work about once or twice a month and don't drive stupid fast nor street race by any means. I do notice that the police will stop and watch or even follow me in my blind spot to see if I'm doing something stupid. I had a motorcycle officer follow me for about three miles before giving up.
Valentine One has my back (and front) but that only protects from speeding tickets - not reckless driving, California stops, and other such taxes.

One point is nothing, will increase your insurance payment next year and ruins your day or week but one point is just the beginning. You got your wings clipped, just slow down for the next 18 months and they'll grow back.

but u didnt go to traffic school first time so suck it up, try to fight it at court and lose if cop shows up, then go to traffic school n get rid of the point
