Yeah, but there was another reason they were pulled over.

Nope, sorry not in L.A. County. I’m speaking from experience. Go to any tint shop, log on to DMV website, go to any court house or you can just check out copies of my citations. You are not permitted any level of tint on your two front windows. The tint you might be thinking of is in fact not films of tint. A lot of stock cars come with darker shades of glass that give a mild but similar effect.

no the driver and passenger side cannot be tinted.. if you have a 4 door, then the back yes.. not the front.. so the only legal tint for the Z is the lil triangular part and the back windshield..

as for your traffic school.. have u actually went and sat in class for a day? iono what info you are waiting for.. but as long as u find a OC court accepted school, go take the class, let them send the certificate to court and you are done.

Yep, i just finished traffic school for my first ticket. It was a breeze and got that settled. Im thinking of trying to do the trial by declaration and see if I can get out of a ticket, if not, I will most likely plead guilty the second time around.

Also, are you guys sure about the not being able to tint the two front windows on a z? I remember seeing threads on that and someone posted legal tint numbers and 70 percent was allowed.

http://www.tintlaws.com/

Heres the link guys. It says front/passenger percent: 70, rear side/rear any. That sounds like the front sides are legal to tint up to 70 percent, so I don't know what you guys are talking about unless there is something I am not getting.

Just speaking from experience man, if I daily drive my Z I can't go two weeks without a fix it ticket. Tinted windows being one that frequently hurts my wallet. Forget the links call your local court house if you still doubt us.

Not really doubting you guys, but I would like concrete proof that it is in fact illegal. Everywhere I search online, it says 70% is allowed on the front sides: http://www.mobile-tinting.com/window...california.php, http://www.tintcenter.com/laws/CA/. But if you guys say you got pulled over for it, then Ill call my local court and find out.
