Default ***San Diego bike and car cruise - highway 94 run this saturday (feb 13th)***

SOCAL MEET AND GREET

The cruise will be this Saturday, February 13th, open to all makes and models (stock/modified) including bikes as we will be meeting up at Starbucks for some morning coffee, and conversation before departure to the infamous 94 Highway. If you guys have never taken this drive, your in for a real treat. This route is full of endless twisties and turns through the hills with some of the best scenic country views San Diego has to offer. You guys further up north are more than welcome, as we would love to have you as well.

The meet up spot for this cruise will be the parking lot between Albertsons and Starbucks in Mira Mesa:

(Set GPS to this address)
10740 Westview Parkway
San Diego, CA 92126

We will be meeting up at 10:45 a.m. and will be departing at 11:30 a.m. The bikes will lead the way, as we head out which should put us out about a 30-45 minute drive before we actually hit the hills. The intent is to consolidate everyone together at our meet up point and have an early lunch/bite to eat before we cruise any further through the hills and mountains. Total mileage expected should put us around 120 miles round trip as we will be backtracking once we hit our end point. Set aside 2-3 hours on a Saturday morning/afternoon with a nice drive, I guarantee you won't regret it. Weather for Saturday is supposed to be a sunny 80 degrees, let's hope that don't change!

I will be posting up more specific information including routes etc... as that is currently in the works, just wanted to throw this out there to you guys to get the word out to anyone who may be interested. It should be one hell of a great time and a great opportunity to meet some of you enthusiasts here on the site or in the area for some good times and photo shoots!

First and foremost, Blue Bat, your right. I never reposted the meetup spot for the cruise, I'll give you that one. I was invited and thought I would pass the word, I wasn't initially in charge of hosting this meet, nor was it my call to change locations. The meet up was changed at the last minute, and when I was notified of the change, I posted it in the thread (right before your post as a matter of fact). I wasn't provided specific information at that time, hence no post. As a matter of fact, after numerous phone calls made from my end, I was never provided further information, hence no post. I didn't go on this cruise because I was never provided any further and/or specific information. With that being said, my turn... It's not my fault you showed up when I posted that the location had been changed, you posted RIGHT AFTER me, so you should have caught that. Im not yours or hammers damn babysitter. Nobody EVER pm'ed me regarding the meetup, or regarding any questions pertaining to the meetup. As a matter of fact, nobody posted a show other than SDZ33 and SDURBAN350Z. If anything, I should apologize to them, and I do. I offered to roll with them up to the Cerritos meet, but I had an emergency with one of my Marines, so I had to cancel that with them via pm, which I did. I don't owe any of you an apology, this one goes both ways.

Ok Apologies dude don't get upset. I know I worded my post wrong here. I guess a singup sheet would of been great here and it could of been put up by anybody.

I think we need to organize a 94 highway run anyways. I will let everybody no when. I just need to look at a map to see where to start and finish.

Enjoy your ride

Listen, Im more upset at the fact that I wasn't informed properly of the details to then, in turn, inform you guys who were interested so that everything could have turned out smoothly. The last thing I want to do is compromise my relationship with the local Z/Enthusiast community. I have nothing against any of you, I just didn't have any control over the situation... I will no longer post someone else's meet, unless it is one that I collaborate with a few of my own guys. I apologize for the confusion, and hope that you guys had a nice turnout on highland valley.

No prob Steve_o, Next time we should just do a sign up sheet and organize it with a good ammount of time before a meet... That way we have time to communicate, check/clear our schedules, etc...

Damn, sorry to hear.

I was waiting wondering if you were going to stop by the Cerritos meet but we will just have to see you at the next one.
