Start with the gentlest method first!
The PlastX is pretty good at clearning headlight haze. My method is to use a sponge (like a wax applicator sponge) and work in the PlastX until it disappears and buff off the excess PlastX with a MF towel. If it doesn’t clear the haze initially, repeat.
If the PlastX works, then I’ll use a quick detail spray to clean/wipe the headlights and then apply a sealant (ie, Opti-Seal) to protect the lights.
Give the PlastX a try first and then look into how to wet-sand your headlights.
