Default HID HELP! install question

ok so i read the "Halogen --> HID conversion (56K warning)" thread but it wasn't really helping i bought a full H7 HID kit w/ballast and everything from DDM tuning and as i was reading the thread it didn't really tell me where to plug my HIDs i know 1 connection goes to the ballast but where does the other one go? cause the other connection seems to look like a 2 prong connector and the only connection i saw that look like a prong shape was for my highbeams -_- does anybody know where i connect them cause this crap is stressing me out some one help me!!

the "2 prong" connector you're talking about... did they include a plastic looking plug that you pop those 2 prongs on?? the plug should look like this: " | _ |" so you match up the headlight's power connector thing to that plastic plug. Hope that helps

do you have the halogen bulb based headlights to begin with? Or do you have the stock xenon headlamps?

When you pull out your stock H7 bulb there should be a black plastic piece that has two plungs in it. Remove those and insert the two supplied from the hid kit.

what does the connector look like for the low beam bulb? You may already have factory HID's and therefore need a D2R bulb not an HID kit.

the connector looks like a big goldish half black thing with a bulb connector that i can remove the bulb and replace it with another, and it looks like its running through a ballast or something, not sure though if i do need a d2r bulb basically i bought an HID kit that can't be used cause i already have factory HIDs?

Since you already have factory HID's all you need to do is get HID bulbs with the temperature of your preference. ex. 5k, 6k, 8k. ect.

Since you bought the H7 bulb specific hid kit, you can have your high beams replaced with the HID kit but that wouldn't be of any use i guess. lol.

can you return it?

You can't even convert it to a halogen time bulb if you wanted to. There is a lot more wiring needed. The ballast doesn't really mean anything since even the halogens have the same thing but it does seem that you have HID's already. You just need to get new bulbs.

LOL, i bought the same one's but, i have a base model. So no HID already. Those prongs go in to your powersource, meaning whatever powers your head light, at least the wires that power the bulb. The other 3 plugs all fit perfectly male, to female on the ballast.
