Question Where to buy a stereo in socal? (navi + bluetooth intergrated)

Hey guys,

I'm looking to buy a car stereo that has built in navi and has intergrated bluetooth.

I want to buy a good a stereo. I'm not too familiar with what and who to buy from (if it's a local store, online, private seller,) I just don't want to get ripped off and I also want to buy something good, something worth spending the money for.

Any feed back would greatly be appreciated.

Thanks for looking.
-Elio

I work for WoofersEtc, and if you want, give me a call monday through friday, 9:30am-6:30pm at the number on the site and I can help you pick a reasonably priced stereo that suits your needs. Just ask for Julian. I can also set you up with all the necessary installation accessories (harnesses, dash kits, etc) that you'll need (at prices more reasonable than a normal installer would charge you) and even refer you to local, and mobile installers that can take care of you very well.

I initially bought my Pioneer AVIC-D3 from Crutchfield but ended up returning it and buying it from Amazon for about $300 less.

If I were to upgrade it I would go with the newest version from Pioneer:

http://www.amazon.com/Pioneer-AVIC-X...5813051&sr=1-1

You will also need a wiring harness and a double-din dash kit which you can also get from Amazon.

I had a local shop install it for about $100 if I remember correctly.

Hope that helps!!

Nice unit. I have it cheaper though. http://woofersetc.com/p8941/AVICX920...-Bluetooth.htm

Also be weary of buying on Amazon/eBay, as you will not get any warranty like that from most sellers. Anything you buy from me will have a full 1-year warranty.

Also consider the new W900BT from Alpine, which we just got a shipment of today: http://woofersetc.com/p9564/INAW900B...-Bluetooth.htm

Damn you Julian, you posted the same time I did.

Elio, go with Juilan he will set you up proper.

On a side note, be weary if he asks you to checkout the bang van.

GREAT choice! I just purchased mines from Amazon for ~$510 shipped before a $100 rebate. I've had it for a few weeks now and the Navi as well as the Bluetooth integration is great!

definitely look @ the Pioneers if you want GPS out the box. that's a nice HU!

yeah I got a steal on my Clarion VX400 from Amazon earlier this Summer; $345. Lol after looking it's actually cheaper now. :O Was originally looking @ GPS units but the fact of the matter is I just don't need one. Nice thing about the Clarion & some other units is if I want GPS you can always add it for like $200+ down the road. Depends on manufacturer and where you shop...

I'd definitely suggest shopping around though. Amazon.com is always a great place to start because their pricing is always competitive or the best. Also ask anywhere you find a decent price if they can give you a better deal. Sometimes they'll surprise you can give you a discount. then of course you can bring it all to a local shop to have it installed.
