well. need some help.. looking for an exhaust shop that actually knows that they are doing that can do CLEAN WELDS on stainless steel..
i'm making a HFC for my Evo X... so i purchased a 3" Test pipe and a 3" I.D. high flow metallic substrate (400 cell) and i would like to mate them together..
anyone know of a reputable shop with welders that won't put boogers all over this thing? it needs to last .. preferrable in the South Bay ...
i will probably put a coat of high temp coating to prevent rusting after it is all said and done...
lmk..
thanks guys.

I have a TIG welder at my place, if you cant to come down I can take care of it for you. here are some pics of my work.

I weld using proper rod so you don't need to coat it with anything it wont ever rust. stainless steel does not rust.

im not quite sure of the metal used for the Magnaflow cat.. i think it's SS.. hence the paint comment..
the test pipe i have is a polished SS.. so not quite sure how it'll all look after its all said and one.
you have some clean welds man.. impressive..

polished or non polished does not make a difference. 304 is a very common alloy and I can almost put my left nut that the 308 / 304 alloy is what you have on both pipes. which is the most common filler rod it gets wire brushed and cleaned before welding so it wont matter. no need to paint.
I'm in Perris California, that's in riverside county. 92571 is my Zip if you want to look it up. let me know if you want me to get it done. I also do Aluminum and Titanium if you need or know anyone that needs that done.
P.S. thanks for the compliments guys!
