Default Rare JDM Autocross Challenge

We’re looking to get a few more G’s and Z’s out to the track, and what better way than to have a little challenge and giveaway some prizes! We’ll be releasing more info soon, but if you want to come out sign up soon because the autocross events fill up quick. This isn't officially part of the Speed Ventures event, but I did get permission from them to have the challenge.

Sign up with Speed Ventures here, then email us at events@rarejdm.com to let us know you’re coming! Hope to see some of you out there

*Just a quick update: Speed Ventures said they would add a "Rare JDM Autocross Challenge" class/group in the sign up area, so if be sure to select that when you sign up.

Zack, two questions

1) How much would the AutoX be on it's own?

2) Is there a spectator area for people to view the action if they didn't want to participate but still wanted to attend.

Autocross cost is $72, whether or not you want to come out with us or go on your own. Like I said, this isn't officially part of Speed Ventures, they're just allowing us to have a private challenge. We're not getting paid by them or collecting any fees for the challenge.

As for spectators, anyone can come out and watch... I think there is a gate fee of $5-10 charged by the track.

Thanks for clarifying Zack, and thanks for putting this together

Of course... not sure how many people will make it out, seems like a busy month and we got it approved a little late. Either way, a few of us will be there, and we plan on hosting more events throughout the year.

Just to clarify a little further, this is nothing serious, and we're not out to prove anything... just thought it would be a good way to get some new people out on the track. Everyone's welcome from beginners to full on track junkies, we're just going out to have a good time.

Here's a quick clip from a previous autocross. The course will probably have a very similar layout. It's wide open, very safe, and you don't have to work in between sessions like you do at other events.

As for the prizes, we'll be giving away an under tray for sure, the rest of the prizes will be based on the amount of people that go.

I saw that video on driver last night, sickness!!

A few of us were talking over the weekend about getting into these types of events going forward, so we would certainly like to stopby either at this event or at a future events.
