Some guy backed into me in the Irvine Spectrum parking lot today. He admits its his fault, so I dont have to worry about paying anything, but do any of you know how much this would cost to fix?

If anyone can host these pics for me, I would appreciate it. The guy's insurance company is AAA. Do you guys know if I get to pick my own body shop for price quotes? And if I can, does anyone know a body shop in the OC, or 626 area that will "hook" me up with price quotes? Hopefully I can get extra money for side skirts or somethin.

Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Damn...that sux. I too was at the Spectrum today for lunch. I parked way, way, way, way out there and walked to D&B. I'm paranoid about door dings and careless drivers and the exercise can only be good.

I have AAA myself. Sorry can't help you with their specific policies, but the other guy's insurance typically cannot dictate who you take it to for repairs, although they will often insist that you get multiple quotes (which BTW you don't have to).

seen this in import tuner, they put a veilside kit on a Z and matched up the paint pretty good.

i've been hit by a AAA insured person in my previous car.
they'll probably tell you to take it to one of their "approved" body shops to take some pics and get an estimate. you can have it repaired there or elsewhere, but if you go to your own body shop, you'll have to pay out of pocket and then wait for reimbursment, whereas AAA body shops get paid directly by them.

looking at your damage, i don't think there is any way you can squeeze anything out of it, no matter where you go. if it was a bigger hit, you might be able to claim your exhaust system is jacked and you need a new one.

thanks for the info guys.... AAA insurance guy is gonna call me tomorrow, so hopefully i can pick my own body shop. maybe i'll take it to the body shop performance nissan recommends.
