I was in the Black run group too. My best was a 1:33.xxx I was a little disapointed because that what I ran last time I was there and this time I had new sway bars I'm thinking the heat is what killed me though. so mid pack would mean like 1:36.xx?

I thought I was running Hawk HPS but now that I look at their website I think I might me running Hawk Performance Ceramic. I can tell you right now that my brakes suck soo bad on the track. Not to mention my tires. I'm going to hold off on track days until I can afford some track worthy pads and tires. Jason (Jnathon) schooled me on the importance of tires and pads this weekend.

But did you have fun? That is the first thing and then just keep tracking and your times will drop. Tried to find you once or twice to say hi but didn't. I was driving the red Nismo 350z. I don't know if you saw my thread with a few pics but I assume you were the black Z.

Tires will definetely improve your time but you can have fun at the track no matter what tires you are running. Brake pads are a bit more important to me. What year is your car again?

Yeah, definitely had fun. Probably the best so far only because I felt I drove the fastest I could (conservative style). I used to row between 3rd and 4th gears only. This time around, I used 2nd gear. .

Yup, that was me in the black Z. Thanks for the pic!
