Exactly. I figured your av was a pic on rueda. Crazy! I totally remember being next to you. My friend who lives on the corner if tierrasanta blvd and la cuenta says he always thinks your car is mine. It sounds good. Excited to see that vortech on there man. I used to have a vortech setup. I miss it, and I don't. I installed it and tim at speed force tuned it. He's good with the ss box.

I honestly don't think you will need anything other than SS box if you are only going to be using the Vortech, even with add on's later down the road he can just work off the maps he already did.

yea tial bov's can have a distinct sound. but its pretty controllable when going partial throttle. wait till you hear how loud your vortech is going to be... i kinda miss having the obvious s/c sound when at a stoplight.

I came really close to going turbo man, I miss the BOV ... but I just love the SC power band. I think I can handle the noise. who tuned your car again?

well, i installed my greddy tt kit, 600's, walbro 255, and return. then got it running on partial throttle by myself and a friend. then drove it to tim at speed force and had him dyno tune it. last i checked; on his site under dyno tuning is a pic of my g. i had problems with my boost controll solenoid and couldnt get it to work. so i brought a manual boost controller to adjust boost and get it tuned. so tim dyno tuned it at his shop at ~9 psi and it made 385/408. then i had a missfire and one of my injectors got stuck open. i decided to buy 1000cc injectors and swap. when i did that, i had to change the injector dead times and base fuel map which was almost like starting over again. i also added a meth kit. so i got the partial throttle tuning done by street tuning with a friend of mine. and did the wot tuning mostly by myself with a few tweaks from my firend who is a tuner. currently the car is set to 8 psi. very conservative timing and a/f readings. i put it on my friends dyno a few weeks ago just to see where it was at and it made 371/366. my a/f's were 11.3 on avg. and my timing averaged 13 degrees. this is with methanol. so, its a very conservative tune. BUT, i have also had this set up for over two and a half years. compression on the motor is still good as of 4 months ago. *knocking on wood as we speak*

so in short, tim tuned my car the first time. then a friend and I tuned it the second time around.

There's a new shop in Santee called, "Deep's Garage"

They specialize in Nissan/Infiniti (mostly drift and track cars in general)
They're a small shop that opened this year, but they def know their stuff
They've worked on my Z a few times and they get the job done really well
Ask for Chris or Mike and tell them Jody said what's up

Nice to know you work there...my escaped z just came to you guys a few weeks ago (the white)..had to be rescued from GTM hell...You guys do some great fabrication and don't mind doing "one off" parts...some places only like the easy "cookie cutter" types of builds and only do it THEIR way.....

Hats off to you guys and hope you get that tube front end on soon so we can do some wicked custom stuff!
