i'm going to be taking my car in to a dealer in the next few days to have the transmission looked at and hopefully repaired/replaced. it's showing all the classic signs others have reported before and i can't stand the grinding anymore.

does anyone have experience with this in southern california? i'm looking to go to a dealer that has seen this before and won't blow me off (west l.a., hopefully). anyone have recommendations where to go and who to talk to (and where to avoid)?

also, i don't see a tsb for this. is there another document i can take to show the repair folk that this is a known problem?

It may be a little drive but go to Performance Nissan at Durate, CA. Its where 215 & 605 Meet. They given me no hassel regarding the tranny issue. They been very helpful.

 

yeah, performance nissan in duarte wont give you any problems. its worth the drive from west LA. talk with jeff

torrance nissan is ok also. although i only did the window grease tsb there. no hassles

and stay FAR away from nissan of long beach.

 

Ya', come see me!!!! While your here I'm sure you'll meet several Forum members as well. seems we have at least 2 a day and sometimes as many as 4.

 

I've gotten mine replaced at Performance Nissan as well. Their customer service is superb! Take your car there!
