The first organizational meeting is set for Monday night Jan 12th@ 7pm at Performance Nissan in Duarte..

Performance Nissan and Jeff are rolling out the red carpet for us. Not only are they providing the meeting hall but also providing" Pizzia" and drinks as well as a few other surprises for those folks in attendance. They're also clearing some extra spaces on the lot for the group to park in. Imagine 50-60 shiny new Z's in the lot at one time. It will be enough to bring "wood" to all their salesmen and customers.

At this meeting we'll decide interim leaders and event commitees as well as other stuff to make this club the bomb.

Those able to attend think up a half a dozen club names that you think are "bangin" We'll look into club jackets or shirts so you can be recognised at club events and elsewhere. While I've got you thinking up stuff, How about a logo or design we can have to put on the shirts and jackets.

I’m not sure if I can make it that day at that time. I will be near the LAX that day and I don’t think I can get off work till around 8~9pm. But I will try to sneak out!

Club names? I had a whole bunch of lame ideas... but decided to edit them out...

Morphiend, I'm trying to think of some places to meet... and realized the meeting is set for 7pm... which means we'll be either on the 405 or 55 fwy during thick traffic time.

I think people coming from LA would face traffic as well.

Mr. Twisted, wouldn't a weekend or a later time on Monday night be better for everyone?

 

I agree, the time is to early considering traffic, 8:00pm is a lot more resonable than 7:00. Most meets on other boards that I attend are from 8:00 and end at 10:00. Just a thought, later is always better unless weekends of course.

 

Im gonna have to agree with the last two guys, 7pm on Monday is not a great time especially considering the traffic situation. Im partial to weekends personally

If 7 pm stands Ill try to make it, but no promises.

 

Any time is good for me, the dealership I believe closes at 11 Pm, I just put 7 pm as a number so lets make it 8-8:30 I just do'nt want to make it to late for Jeff. He starts at preformance at 5Am. This is a planning meeting of events and general get together. The real events will be on the weekends when everyone can participate. Got to get started or the whole year will be gone before we know it. If you guys do'nt mind well start pizzias at 7;30 and have our drawings at the end when everyones there. Sound Fair.

Guys from OC... from Costa Mesa it will be a 46 mile trip up to Duarte, which will be 50 mins of driving according to yahoo maps.

We'll be taking 405N to the 605 North.

If you guys wanna meet at 7:00PM somewhere off the 405 fwy, we can head to Duarte together.

I think Id stay off the 405. If it were me
55 to the 91 to the 57 slows a little thru Diamond Bar to the 210 off at Buena Vista Might be faster, 405 is always a parking lot.

 

Ill be there. Although my car is on order, my business is 3 blocks away and I would like to learn more about the Z and the club.

 

Close, I get here by 4:30am after I go to the gym at 3:00am.
