I was just in Hawaii for vacation with my family for about a week and came back home this past Saturday night. I woke up this morning at around 9AM, saw my 350Z on bricks...

Sorry about your wheels. I would also sign up to other car forums and check the for sale sections. It will also be helpful in identifying any unique marks, nicks, scratches or defects of the wheels, if there were any, in the event you come across them being sold somewhere. Just keep an eye out for them...
What brand tire did you have? Sizes?

How sketchy does this look...? Many things to notice here:
1) Sale says Work Equipt wheels
-- Theyre Work S1s
2) The picture shows many tells these could be my wheels
-- The Work logo on the face is chipped away on the edges, just as I had described.
-- There is a whole lot of rubber showing the tire sizes are pretty beefy (my specs were 18x8.5 18x9.5 with 245/40 285/35 Nitto NT555 Extreme tires. If you know your fitments, those are big tire specs for such small wheels, and the photo shows just that)
-- You can make out some of the orange stains and caked brake dust around the rivets.
-- You can almost make out the letters "Ex" from Extreme, and the tread pattern looks VERY similar to the 555 pattern.
Lastly, the picture was taken and posted "near Chatsworth". Chatsworth is literally 5 minutes away from my house. According to the author's (Eduardo) personal page, he is located in North Hollywood, which is only 20 minutes away.

I would say gather as much information you can of your rims and tires such as pictures and tires serial numbers like it stated above( you should be able to obtain this from where you got your tires at) and then go check wheels out in person. If they are yours, leave the scene and call the police. Be sure you have info with you that you can prove to the police they are your stolen property.

UPDATE: Had a buddy of mine inquire with the guy about checking out the wheels in person, no response yet. Notified the police and all they told me to do was leave a message with the detective who was handling the case...I swear, LAPD pisses me off sometimes

I'm sorry to tell you, but it is going to be super hard to get your wheels back. My friend had her 15in work euroline dh's stolen, and we found them at a local meet. We called the cops and they did not do anything. There excuse was not enough evidence to say they are my friends. We had pictures off it on her car. We told them the tire size and everything, but no proof that we bought the tires (my friend didn't keep her receipt). At the end of the day the cop pretty much said best thing you can do is steal them back and don't get caught -_- Stupid Pigs
