Default Work wheels stolen in Los Angeles! FML

I was just in Hawaii for vacation with my family for about a week and came back home this past Saturday night. I woke up this morning at around 9AM, saw my 350Z on bricks...

The car was not broken into, but just my wheels were stolen. The wheels were Work Meister S1 3 piece in polished black with polished lips. The sizes were 18x8.5 and 18x9.5 with the offsets being mid to high +20s. Some of the "Work" logos on the face were lightly scratched away on some edges. All of the rivets had some browning around them due to daily wear and tear. I am located in the San Fernando Valley just outside of Northridge so if you have any information or spot these wheels in person and/or for sale, it would be greatly appreciated if it were forwarded to me.

Contact info:

alex.wong5@yahoo.com

Added information, we had Rays Engineering lug nuts on them (not the $400 formula type) and either the car had been scouted prior or they were just THAT good and took them off within minutes.

Finally, I would like to say that I have no respect whatsoever for people like this. These people belong in the same category as those who throw eggs, take keys to paint, or even write a message in the middle of a dusty hood. They were lucky they didnt get caught in the middle of the night, because both me and my father would not have hesitated to reach for one of our firearms. For all you current and/or future custom wheel owners, lock nuts for your wheels do not guarantee security.

sorry to hear man... these wheels are not that common, so try looking on CL or Ebay for a few months..

as for wheel lock, they never really work against professional thieves.. I plan on insuring my rims when I get them..

we live on a culdesac and the neighborhood is very quiet. however some guys moved in down the street and their friends have some modded cars (s2000, del sol, s14) and theyre always hanging out late at in the garage...cant go around pointing fingers though

I had just gotten back on Saturday from a two week vacation and I wouldnt doubt that the car was being scoped out prior to last night. All you have to do is look at the lug nuts to see the Rays logo and get the key. None of the lugnuts were left on the ground, which IMO means they had the key and took them for themselves, otherwise they wouldve left them on the ground if they were beaten up in the process.

I dont know what i would do if I came home and my car was on bricks. I have polished work equips on my car, those damn things are screaming to get stolen. And I've parked my car in skid row of LA, East LA, by the river, etc.

Aint that a b!tch your wheels got stolen at your very own place? I'd be so mad.

Either way, I am sure we will all keeps our eyes and ears open.

inside job!!! Talk to your peeps who knew you were on a vacation .. See if any off them give off the guilty vibe.. n I would recommend becoming friends with your neighbors down the street. Its always good to have extra eyes on your car especially when your outta town
