So Cal 350Z club "Race Warz 1"
We still don't have a official name yet but I'm not letting that hold us back. The mini meeting was a HUGE SUCCESS, so it's fitting to jump into the fire with a HUGE EVENT perhaps the start of a yearly one. We're looking into renting Irwindale raceway for " Race Warz 1, Showoff and Tailgate party". The track is available in May.I believe it will be a one day event, but don't quote me.
Rent of the track, Insurance, Emergency serves, security and incidentals are over $20K, Much of this expense will be offset by Performance Nissan and other major and minor sponsors and vendors but the lion share will be the responsibility of the participants. To make this as successful as possible we are opening up participation to all imports, " the works" "bring it on." We are looking to keep the individual events as cheap as possible. x dollars to drag race, x dollars to show (with trophies) add to that a, potluck tailgate party and"chili or Dim Sum Cookoff" and You name it. Fun Fun Fun !!!! Oh ya Models too... with real lighting and a set. I know a few Car magazines that would like to cover such an event.
We need the total support of the IMPORT community to pull this first "Huge Event" off.

Jeff is finalizing the date with the track as we speak. As soon as we get the date I'll be sliding my own schedule around for this event. In the mean time
do we have any volunteers out there for some organational meetings.
red 6 The track has only 2 weekends open in May I hope we don't have a conflict..with anything..
We will be having and planning smaller events before "Race WarZ 1"

if its models you need, models I have. I manage Imperial Showgirls in Pico Rivera, Ca. You just let me know how many we need and I'll do my best. If performance Nissan wants to use them to promote the event get in touch with me

May is even better for Me too. Just make sure it's not the 9th thats Mothers Day and no body gets out of Mothers Day and very few mothers race and most good girls are with their mothers.
Jeff Support is the key. A Nissan/Infinity meet might be a little limiting to recoup a $20 K commitment,but its up to the support of this board and the Import community. I'm game either way
I'd sure like to see some Lambroginis and Ferrari' s duke it out or MaxHax take on a Bimmer any Bimmer and how about Elitemotion Vs BBBT It boggles the mind. I'd pay to see that one.
Spectators want a show and be entertained for their money. And vendors want crowds and sponsors want their names and banners in national magazines. Thats how we get to Race WarZ 2.

Although I think that an all Nissan/Infiniti Race Warz would be awesome, I agree that it might not bring in the numbers needed. I say that the invite should go out to anyone with any make and model of vehicle. I know that I have been to a few... ummmm... "less than legal" races where a couple of tow trucks have pulled up to the line and gave it a go. Now THAT was something to see.
Depending on the turnout of this first event, maybe in the future there can be an all Nissan/Infinity Race Warz.

Getting a lot of PM"s with offers to help even without the dates yet. We most be on the right track again. Keep the responces coming , we need a favorable responce to go ahead full steam.
