Default Z Meet/BBQ/Potluck

Hey everyone,
After having such a great time at the Torrance meet, I got to thinking..(I know, Crazy huH!) What if we were to have a huge Z meet at a park...make it an all day event.....BBQ/Potluck... Have all the men pitch in for meat and sodas...and have all the girlfriends/wives/mistresses (haha) make side dishes. Of course Mrs. Twisted would HAVE to make cookies. Anyhow, would anyone be interested in this..If so, let me know...I think it would be great fun....an all day Z event w/ food and no "supervision" of a restaurant.....Let me know what you think...or if there is even anyone interested...No date in mind yet, (maybe when it gets a little warmer...) but I was just curious what people thought. Let me know...Thanks

Lysa

here's my recommendation.

Let's make it a Sunday.

In a park with bbq pits or on the beach with bbq pits.

I did a meet at Will Rogers State Beach before but we got there hella early to get parking.

Or we can set it for a park with a lot of parking.

I am in. Hopefully there will be a few weeks before this goes
down. I've got a crazy schedule these days.

Looking forward to it.

I'm down, sounds like fun. Setup a little radio, toss around the frisbee, kick back a couple beers...

My Sundays are so lame now that football season is over. I actually have to be productive So yeah, I nominate this be a Sunday event as well, makes life easier for most. . .

i have OCSA games on Sunday but if it's an "all day" type of thing I can swing by in the late afternoon...but definitely sounds like fun...i can bring the kids.

Of course they'll have to come with their mom in the camry.

We can provide, tents, hotplate and food warmers. We party a lot at the Range.

Lysa you really get the party started , I nominate you the Social Director for the So Cal 350 Z Club. Do I hear a 2nd.

Sundays sound just fine....I guess it works better for everyone. I have weekends off (luckily) so sat OR sun is fine..If Sunday is better for everyone else, sounds good to me too And I LOVE volleyball, so we can set that up...and also get some soccer games going...sounds like fun...Yes it will be an all day event, so if you have prior engagements, you can always stop by later (or earlier if you prefer). I am getting a list together of people who are intersted...Once i have a compiled list, we can start planning the actual date. Ill give details once I have them

Mr Twisted,
Thank you so much...You really made my day with your comment... I do appreciate all the help you are willing to provide. It sounds like this will end up being great fun!

Twisted, I second that motion!

I'm interested in this event too. Sounds like fun!

I'm not much of a cook... but I can bring sodas or pitch in for meat.

Thanks BullishZ I am just trying to get things started.. I think its so much fun to plan and organize get togethers... Im glad it is appreciated.
You dont have to cook...You can pitch in for meat and/or sodas... I'll organize everything once we set a date. Frisbees, volleyball, soccer, music, and a bunch of Z's chilling, eating bbq and drinking sodas (or whatever else is brought)
Sounds like fun But thank you.... I'll keep you on my "list"
