Default Compiled List of Z garages in SoCal

A list I compiled as I asked around on this forum and other sources. Might be useful to others in SoCal area.

Corner 3 Garage (OC - Lake Forest)

Nima is a great, honest guy. Price is very good. They have a Certified Nissan Master tech who is **** about his work. Very good to hear.

CarZone (Valley - Van Nuys)

Great reviews on g35driver forum. Fast service, very affordable.

SpecialtyZ in (Valley - Chatsworth)

Ask for Seb. From what I hear, very knowledgeable and trustworthy. I was recommended to this place by someone on this forum and another z shop when I was in the bay area.

Project Import (OC - Anaheim)

I personally don't know much but should be a good spot.

L-Spec (Redondo Beach)

9K Racing (Whittier)

Rare JDM (Long Beach)

Feel free to add. Also note this list is not a ranking.

I've been going to Corner3 since 2006 but now their shop & workload expanded so nomore walk-ins & don't expect Steve(Master Tech) to work on your car unless it's a big job. I loved going to Corner3 when there was only Nima, Steve & one other part time mechanic who used work there bcus you get to talk with Steve in detail about your car & he explained thoroughly on pros & cons of your next mod. Now he's just busy !!! Try L-Spec in Redondo Beach or 9K racing

I've been going to Corner3 since 2007. Nima and Steve are the best and I have had nothing but excellent service in every way. They have expanded but I have seen no change in the attention I get even for minor service.

I know Tony from Socal Z, he has a very nice Z34 with tasteful JDM parts. It's smaller shop which I want to believe there will be more attention to detail.
I used to go to 9K Racing before they closed door in Whittier. Speciality Z is very good, but their price reflects that and their booking goes a bit back.
