I like having socal in the name. After all SoCal is our stomping grounds. I am from NYC but I am a SoCal Z Rider

I've been bouncing a few ideas and here is one that keeps sticking to me ............
Z Friends or SoCal Z Friends
fits the 350z's , fits the 300z's , and fits anyone else who wants to join in the good times.

 

Uh, I think I can safely say that the gag name really doesn't have anything to do with who we are. Sho, wierd how we were talking about hpz, and all of a sudden, he shows up, eh?

So far, I think I like Shift_Z the best. I also like the 3 FIVE ZERO Z too. If Pasadena, (dang it, did I call you Robert at our last meet? ) could draw something up I'd like to see how it looks.

Shift_Z does follow the Nissan jingle. But, I wonder if it will get old over time. "Driven" is old now. And, I'm annoyed with the fact that so many of us, including myself, had to change transmission due to grind. Last thing I want is to be reminded of that fact everytime the name is used.

Hmm, on second thought, 3 FIVE ZERO Z is starting to sound better. Whatever the case, I think the name should be simple, short and sweet.

I was just kiddin about the "gag name".

As for Shift_Z.... that sounds great but not sure what Nissan will say about using their TM word as our club name. But then, I'm sure the letter "Z" is trade marked as well.

Let's see... I'm hanging out with Shift_Z. I'm going canyon running with Shift_Z. I'm going to the beach with Shift_Z. hmm... yeah, I knwo what you mean... it could get old.

I still like the Z Crew w/o "So Cal". It is short, to the point and does not exclude other model Z's or other areas if we were to expand into other locations later.

 

...and yeah... that was very strange how we were talking about Ha and he showed up! Did someone contact him??

That looks good to me. We need to have a central identity, which is our Z's. So I think it's KEY to include a Z at least to the name. Of course everyone is invited... but still.

hey everyone we are getting way off track.. this post is for name suggestions.. not "advertising" groupz and track events.. i think there are posts for those topics already.
Its been already stated.... if you want to join "GroupZ" then join, but that does not mean that you can not participate in this club. From the post conerning "Lets get this Club started" people do not want to make a private or exclusive club like Mr Twisted(ron) is starting. We are a bunch of people that orgasnise Runs, BBQ's and meets. We are trying to name ourselves.

 

Still like 3fivezeroZ name and graphic myself
