Or in other words, one inch taller than Jim!!

Damn, I thought we had an agreement not to talk about these "things." Let me see if I can find that quote....

Oh btw, friendly reminder ... stock plenum & engine cover

I'm ready for a torrential amount of people calling BS, but I just scored a 0-60mph run of 5.09 seconds! 1/8mph at 9.0x something or other.

At first I thought, hmmm...maybe this is a mistake, but then I noticed that there is a replay mode, which is like a blackbox for your car, and it showed precisely in graph mode the acceleration of my car.

hold my thought....gotta go

Okay, I checked my 1/8 mile time....it was 9.05 seconds @ 79.11 mph. According to the graph, my 60ft time was only 2.4 seconds. However, the graph also showed that I shifted into second while hitting the 60ft mark, therefore, if I stayed a little bit longer in first, the 2.4 would have probably been more like 2.1 or 2.2. Temperature was about 50 degrees, I had a no wheelspin launch, and I apparently dumped the clutch somewhere around 2200 rpm.

I have:

Plenum
Popcharger (dirty)
Borla (not true dual)

My other times were 5.87, 5.86, and 5.98. Was spinning the tires on all three runs, and the third run of 5.98 I spun the tires like mad. I did have a better 60ft on the 5.86 run (2.2 seconds) and I hit redline on all these runs. However, I didn't hit redline on my best 0-60mph run of 5.09.

Well, I'm hoping that I just got really really damn lucky on the 5.09 second run and that otherwise I'm a crappy driver. (I grinded second tonight.......FF****CK!!) But I beat Chad! (he got a 5.66 0-60mph).

where do i start...

...to get a 5.87, 5.86, and a 5.98, and then drop to a 5.09 i think might be an error (especially with a 2.2 60 foot). i don't call BS, but perhaps an error. that is porsche territory...and your not there. when i drove your car it felt similar to mine...not my roommate's 911.

for the record i got a 5.5 flat in my car (not in josh's car, as everyone may have thought from the previous text). the true test will be me driving your car 0-60.

that is the beauty of the G-tech, though. practice makes perfect.

have fun!!

Damn!! and I was already celebrating prematurely.....

I must say, meekly, in defense of myself, that the 5.8's had lots of wheelspin and shifted crappily into 3rd at/near the point where I hit 60mph. Grinded 1-2 in the 5.98 run. Ouch

On the 5.09 run, I hit 60 before I shifted into 3rd and I had perfect launch/traction/engine response/shifting/no-bogging. Graph shows no abnormality as far as I can tell. Remember what you said, 0-60mph is more accurate than 1/4 mile! You'll at least humor me on this one Chad????

Josh ... I think the only true test would be for me to drive your car. And yes, I plan on shifting like I did in my car

I guarantee 4.9xx on that G-tech

i have driven with you...it aint' gonna happen. with only the three mods that he has (and your jackhammer shifting & ****bunny clutching) you have to be a realist here.

again, josh, i am not at all calling BS. i don't think it is impossible...just improbable due to the spread of all your times. this just could have been the one where it all came together, though.
