Hmmm...I thought I was shifting pretty quickly, then again, what I think don't mean sh*t if it's wrong.
Rob or Chad, would either of you guys mind if you do a quick 0-60 run in my car to show me how it's done? (as long as you don't rape and jackhammer the car like Jimbo does).

i'm not a mathematician or anything but 5.77 - 5.50 = .27 seconds. that is still a good time, and practice will make your times better. if you and i raced from 0-60 in our cars, .27 seconds is probably only a half a car length.
i also have those heavy *** rims (albeit they are wider).

i will be there every tuesday!!
that is a good deal on the infectors (110 each!!) but i was under the impression that technosquare already did have this map ready. i wouldn't think that there would be any difference in programming between RC or PE injectors.

and what does 0-60 mean on the street anyways .... you race past that almost always from a dig
More often than not you will be racing from a roll .... worry about your trap speed in the 1/4 for that (the motto of all supras - IRS+fast car = no traction, ergo race from a roll)

Chad, the depressing thing about the 5.77 is that it's slower than C&D's time of 5.4 and R&T's time of 5.6, even though I was in 49 degree weather and R&T was in 75 degrees; and I'm modded, they're stock.
But what do you think about the 1/8 mile trap speed of 82mph in 9.1 seconds? Kinda high trap speed for the 1/8, right? I'm very curious and intrigued about this statistic.

Josh .... who gives two shtis what a magazine runs ... you are not a magazine ... life is not a magazine...
race another car, a Z perhaps .. then care about your car being fast or slow, depending on the outcome ...
if you want to bench race .... run over to www.magazinetimesownme.com or something

Relax Jim, I'm only kiddin' around here
You drive fast, no doubt about it.....but seemingly at the expense of your car.

So do you think it is a good idea or necessary to get these with the addition of a S/C? And what is the benefit?

jim is right. its not that big of a deal.
you can never say "i have mods, so my car should be faster". many times, the mods hurt your 0-60, and help you 1/4 mile. i don't know what it is, but i bet it is the practice thing.
when my car was stock, i was able to match, or beat what they had said about my car in the magazines as far as 0-60...but not every time i tried. sometimes it was slower. just keep practicing, but dont get any tickets!!
i will see what i can get in your car sometime...maybe sunday, or monday, when there is no traffic at the 0-60 spot, and it is light outside.

Josh on the subject of mag times...it does get old quick. Mag times are good if you don't own the car but since you have a Z the best thing to do is forget what the mags run. Practice till you think you have it down then hit the track. Its the only way you'll ever learn. I know plenty of guys who have cars and say "Oh my car runs a 13.8" Cuz they read it somewhere. then they go to the track and get clowned for a 14.6

ATI + PE 380s + reflash = well tuned, fast car.
Most of the ATI guys that had issues with timing, fuel, etc switched to this and the AAM return style fuel system and couldnt be happier.
Yes, they are a good, but expensive idea .... but a much cheaper idea than a blown motor
