Rob/Chad what is a good offset to have that will not negatively affect performance. Also if someone is mentioning hub rings is that a sign of a possible loss of performance from those rims...ie for "show" instead of "go"????

I will defer to Chads judgement. I have never been big into wheels, spacers, offset. this will be the third car I make go REALLY fast on stock rims.

As far as performance goes, everyone will tell ya that you'll lose some performance (acceleration) due to the fact they are 19's (something about rotational inertia, blah blah) but also gain in performance (wider tires = more rubber = better traction)......
Personaly, I haven't noticed a loss in performance vs. the OEM 18's (non track) but I did notice the advantages in grip because of the wider tires.... Hope that helps a little...

I'm running a similar set-up, my Challenges are 8.5 and 9.5 (+21f, +23r) and, well you seen my car, I think they fit pretty good....

That's because I'm not at work to waste company time.
BTW...the auto trannys are pretty damn fast. They all hit 13.9 in the quarter allegedly....

You probably won't notice a loss in performance from the wheel swap, as long as you stick with the "relatively" lightweight Volks etc.
I went from Track wheels to 24lb C4s and damn was I disappointed with the performace change. Then I went ahead and looked at my car .... and said who cares .... Hotchkis can fix it
$400 well spent
The ability to launch the car harder (bigger tires) made up for the loss in the straight line (if there even was any). The only real difference I felt was tire/body roll nd turn in time .... these were all remedied by Hotchkis from titanmotorsports.com, I installed the sways (easy) and let Chad do the springs(air tools help).
Wanna buy a Vortech ? .... no worries about cashiers checks, etc etc
I was originally really excited about it .... but I don't think it will be enough ... I am thinking bigger and better ... so I may be selling it for the right price.
