Hey Erock,

DAS is who I use for my car dealership when a customer wants to ship his car. Unfortunately they don't offer dealer discounts. They have a great tracking service but add at least a week to the estimated time of arrival that they give you. I can get discounts on local shipping (west coast).

It sounds like you got a terminal to terminal deal. The San Diego terminal I use is Fletcher Towing in El Cajon near Parkway Plaza. You may want to consider paying an addtl $100 for a top load. If you car is on the bottom and you have a leaker above you...the oils and fluids could screw up your paint and your car may be on the trailer for 2 weeks. Good luck to you.

Telegraph Cyn sounds great. I live a block off of it. There's a great route off of Honey Springs road towards the end of Telegraph. I've taken it with bike riders a couple of times. A bunch of new restaurants just opened up in the area as well.

Kiet - thanks for the advice, Toploading sounds like the way to go...

Jim - Well, when I thought I was driving I was going to try to leave this weekend or the latest Tuesday. Now, I just need to get a plane ticket, so I'll probably leave on the 19th....

Do you guys think I should just keep the wheels on or put the Stockers back on? When I get over there, I'm going to have the Volks on anyway, so I don't know If I want the extra hassle of taking them off then putting them back on...

I'm down for a lil run fun AS LONG AS it's been dried out... Right now, I bet the roads are saturated, prolly take a few days of clear skies to dry it out.

I would prolly just leave em on and take tons of pictures before the shipment, so if they get messed up you can prove it ...

Otherwise, it will cost a $$$ to ship them out there, no?
