San Diego GTGs.....
Btw...I am back up on 4 good wheels. I want to give props to US Wheels in El Cajon
...They did a great job of straightening my wheel...and without having to remove the anodizing...(saving me $$$ and time without my wheel) looks and feels brand new...New psi setting: 36 psi all the way around....thanks Chad....funny how much different the car feels with a couple of extra psi of air.....

Good luck Eric,
Even though I'm not a regular to this thread or the meets, I know the Z community in S.D. grew due to this thread.
Hope everything goes well with you back in the East Coast. It was cool briefly meeting you at the meets.
Fight the winter and be well.

welcome to the club. i remember when i graduated, i was so happy to get a real salary. my mom had worked her entire life, and i was making more than her with my first job. after a few years, i wonder where the money goes...with medical, and the 10% i give to retirement, there is just enough left to cover the essentials. it always looks good on paper, but expenses, and taxes are a *****.
i would never consider moving away from san diego, however, if that was what you were getting at.
i will be there tonight, with mini socks for the bolts.

I totally know what you mean about the wow, that # looks good on paper ... but you know what ... it really isnt all that in the end.
I am cool with it though, I love my job, live in SD in a nice place, have good friends and well ... the "scenery" here is quite fun.
I will be here a few years at the very least, enjoying it and learning everything I can. Who knows after that, but debt will hopefully haunt me no more at that point and I will be ready to have a lot more fun.
PS - can you bring some socks for my tailpipes? I looked at them this morning and they seemed all too cold with that ugly dewy mist on them. I think socks are the perfect nighttime cure for that.

Insurance on 3 rides is not easy either.

hey travis,
do you plan on joining us ever at the SD meet? it is a weekly thing, very casual, very fun...and tons of $hit talking.
even though it is a G/Z meet, and your Z is hot...you have got to bring that caddy. i am loving it!!!
i have been looking at 59's. i think the fins are illegal in 48 states!
i will bring socks for all!!
