Any by no body roll I mean as little as possible, I know it's impossible and stupid to have absolutely none...so don't tell me to take my struts and springs out and replace with a weld on peg...

I want to have no body roll in my car. I am getting the Cusco sways. What else would be recommended? Tein basics or would I have to get something like the HKS 30 way coilover?

Thanks.

Brandon

recommendations:

1. don't buy the cusco sways (they are heavy, and they aren't adjustable)

2. ride in my car to see what a balanced, tuned suspension feels like.

3. get your wallet out

haha...which HKS coilover did you get Chad? Isn't the Cusco sways adjustable in the front?

yes, but the hotchkis are 3-way adjustable in the front and rear, and they are half the price...it's a no-brainer.

Hey Chad,

I'm confused, is the Cusco stiffer than the Hotchkis or the other way around. Some places use the 100+% stiffer and others use just the extra over 100%. What's up with that?

Get an adjustable sway set.... that way you can dial in and out understeet based on your preference. All of the aftermartket ones can be set significantly stiffer than stock, so any choice is good.

Hotchkis and 350EVO have gotten great reviews all around.

I actually had no idea what knight hawk was ... I just googled it and copied and pasted ... in fact, I didnt even read what I posted .. ill read it after I post this.

Brandon .... if you are going with coilovers and want to get the alignment right, you are looking at at least $2000 in parts alone. Chad's po-dunk shop can get you all set up relatively cheap ... but in the end ... it will be $2500 .... like he said, get your wallet out.

Chad has the HKS LS ... I am going with the HKS RS .. it is a slighty softer spring that what he has .. and he is changing out to mimic it for more comfort.

BTW .. dont go for a ride in the chadwagon unless you are prepared to be embarassed how the Z handles stock

it's that good huh? I definately want to give it a shot. If it's that great, I'd do it, but chances are I won't. So far I'll be getting the following:

JUN chromly flywheel (have it)
JWT clutch kit (have it)
JWT POP charger
Hotchkis sways
245F/255R/45/17 Falken GR Beta FK-451 (stock 17" wheels)

I'll wait on the coilovers decision. What do you guys think?

I think you'll have a good setup ... should transform the car quite nicely.....the sways alone were the best mod I have done yet.

check titanmotorsports.com ... in fact call them ... they do $250 shipped on em, great price.

Hey Rob,

I won't be doing turbo for a while. I've decided to just pay off my car by the end of the year and then save up for the turbo, it's just too expensive with the car and everything else right now. So how's the turbonetics coming along? You're getting your ride back today/tomorrow right? I'm getting my car FINALLY back friday...that will be 45 days at the body shop..

No, but I need to talk about it like it is so I can justify the high costs

Hey Rob,

Are the stainless steel brake lines worth the money? I bought the SS clutch line, but don't know if it's worth getting the SS brake lines.
