So far we have two (me & jwkirkland). Is there anyone else interested? JimRHit is in if his money gets freed up.

damn good turnout. 11 g/z's at kmart and at least 5 more on filipino time at fusion. some guys mentioned coming out @ 6:45. sounds like a good idea no?

i was also thinking of switching it up every other week. we can find a new place to go to with different snacks. theres plenty of us to have our own mini meet. ideas?

...and there's a all wheel drive meet at pat and oscars the first thursday of next month. bat will fill us in on the details

I spoke to a buddy regarding the meet next Thursday. They meet up at 7pm. I think we outta get there alittle early so we can get a good spot like last time. How about we meet at 6:15 pm next Thursday, Aug 5th, and roll down there at 6:30.

Post here if you plan on going.

OK guys..havent talked to Ben yet...(not open yet) I called the Dynoshop in Santee to just to see what they have to offer. Thier terms were: Minimum of 10 cars. $50 per car for 2 pulls. Must put down half for deposit which is returned the day of the dyno runs and each person can pay that day cash, check, etc. I'm sure we could get the 10 cars. Not thrilled on the deposit thing but I understand their reasoning. I'll find out what Ben has for us when they open later. I'm also going to talk to F-Max up in Escondido. They worked a deal for me a while back. I'll keep you guys posted.

Update: Apparentely F-Max got bought out by Turbonetics in Simi Valley and does not have the Escondido store anymore. News to me. Well, that leaves AEBS unless you guys want to drive up to Simi Valley for a dyno. Hey...we could check out their turbo kit.... Yeah I'm not laughing either..

I called Pann Auto and I have to call them back after 10:30 to talk to the guy who sets up dynos. I just got off the phone with AEBS. Since a weekend is the easiest and they aren't open weekends, they would want $70/car 3 pulls. With some cool off time between runs for each car. (ie: quick adjustments) I'll call Pann in a little bit and find out what they can offer.

Oh I will. I'm even going to cross post to some of the B15 and Altima guys if we need to. I'm just trying to get an idea of what the cost is gonna be.

This sounds like a better deal than the $50 for 2 pulls.

Do you think that we will be able to install some performance items during the dyno day? I want to do my 1st pull with the mods I have now, then I want to install a couple of things then do my 2nd pull, tune (if needed), then do my last pull. Will I get an accurate reading from installing cats after the 1st pull or should I wait a couple of weeks so the ecu can adjust? If I have to wait for the ecu to adjust then I will install the cats this weekend and then install a crank pulley that day.

UPDATE

I just talked to Pann Auto. They will do $50 for 3 pulls but require it to be prepaid a week prior. So lets says the dyno is on Sat. We would need to all pay by that Monday. Pretty much everyone wants like 10 cars to do it. Either way I think its between Pann and AEBS. Let me know. Its up to you guys.

As for the installing of stuff. If we do it at AEBS its going to be quick adjustments so it would have to be like changing jets on Nitrous or boost settings. Mainly its to allow the car to cool down a little between pulls. As for the cats they are going to need to burn in before you see more gains so you may want to put those on WELL before the dyno day. all_bark did a dyno one day then installed hos kinetix cats that night and went back the next day and got about 5hp with no other change. Well let me know.
