So after a tire round robin it looks like its going to be Bridgestone S-03 Pole Positions..They couldn't find Toyos, Yokos, BFGs, are anything else in the right size that they could get to the shop by today/tomorrow.... What do you all think about the S-03s...they have good ratings and reviews on tirerack.

 

Yeah, any of my employees is caught sleeping on the job and it's instant termination. But it's because of the nature of the business. Me being in my position, I just close the door to my office and I can go right to sleep. No windows and I'm the only one with the key.

s-03's are great. i had 'em on my maxi in 245/40/19 trim, and the traction was awesome. i never autocrossed it, but did drag it a couple of times and there was a lot of grip. around the street, there's great wet and dry traction. i was happy with 'em, i'm sure you will be, too. but then again, that's up to you

 

i might be trading the z in for a truck, so the car will be stripped down to stock again. i will know more in a week or so. i will let you know.

 

SO3s are good tires, but they are some of the heaviest tires around ....

I think the lightweight volks and tires will probably be about equal "weighty" feel as stock ... just now with more grip and quicker turn in. They do have a relatively stiff sidewall = good feedback in steering

 

Well I'm glad they are really that good cause with all the money I have tied up into other stuff I'm not going to be able to get any other tires for a while...
