put it this way...you are coming out with WAY better tires than when your car went into the shop with.

I wouldn't expect more than 15,000 out of em though ... and its about $1100 - $1500 for a good set of 19" tires .... start saving

the s-03's are supposed to be fantastic. they offer very high grip, and have a very stiff sidewall. they are a biiaach to mount. i mounted a set with a spoon and a knife once, and it took me forever..............seriously, it took me about 6 days.

Hey Jim, Chad, other huge rim affcienados.... I just talked to Brad and the wheels and tires are on. He said he couldn't make it rub by driving around time but he thinks on the freeway there might be a problem... He said its REALLY close. He thinks I might need to roll the fenders....Chad care to assist? BTW its got 245/3519s up front and 275/45/19s in the back...car is going on the dyno in an hour...

I honestly hope to God that it is not a 275/45/19 in the rear ... that will give you a "mustang" look

That is a 28.7" tall tire vs. the 26.5" standard ... effectively raising the center of the wheels 1.08"

I would think you got 275/35 ... that is the right size. If you fit a 275/45 ... then I know you can do a 285/35 or 295/30

edit: sorry for being a negative nancy here ... but ya know I dont wanna see you get hooked up with the wrong ish here and be screwed for 15k miles

for that car, there is a huge lip on the wheelwell. you don't roll it, you cut it with an airsaw instead. perhaps they struck out on the offset, because i think that this is a fairly common setup. is it rubbing in the front or the rear, or both?

ditto on the 275/45 thing...that would be nasty

LE37T 10.5 come in (my opinion) the wrong offsets for the Z ... there are 1-3mm out from the outerfender when -1.0 camber or better

look up a few of the GM LE37T posts on DB Zs .. it just looks funky
