perhaps another cali buritto with fries?
rob, although the low carb thing definitely works, excersize is the other half of the equation. if you hit the treadmill, you will be shocked as to how fast you can trim down.

Stay away from starchy foods like fries, potatoes, rice...that's a big no no. Plus white bread, wheat is ok. Here's what I recommend if we go to Wings and Things: Wings, but don't get the breaded strips! salad would be good too. Fusion, any meat and salad, eggs... stay away from the egg rolls Rob!
Anyhow, I'm down for either one. If we go to Wings n Things, we can still roll to Fusion afterwards. Otherwise, any other suggestions for dinner tomorrow in that area would be goo too.

Then it's good your exercising and all. It's good to see we all at one point or another can take time to fix our waist lines. I've lost almost 45 pounds since I started my diet. It's that stupid Jenny Craig my wife started me on. It works a little differently than the low carb thing. Mainly we (she) just watches the intake of foods (starches, meat, veggies) and mostly just the calorie intake throughout the day. I used to never eat breakfast the have a large lunch and dinner. Now I'm down to 1500 calories a day.

Good luck on that Rob, I used to weigh 240, I lost it due to a healthy diet, I take in carbs in the morning for energy, just not starchy carbs (as Andy stated), and a routine excersise. In the end it pays off.
Trust me.

You can eat fruit, that's complex carbohydrates, your body takes longer to digest it. Simple carbs like fries, potatoes... digest fast, you'll be hungry in no time. As for soda, stay away from it, especially Diet Soda! It'll make you hungry!
