perhaps another cali buritto with fries?

rob, although the low carb thing definitely works, excersize is the other half of the equation. if you hit the treadmill, you will be shocked as to how fast you can trim down.

That is currently in process. Have done no less then 30 minutes of treadmill or eliptical machine for the last 4 days. I f@cking hate running so mostly eliptical. Then another 30-45 minutes of lifting but mostly low weight high rep stuff.

hehe, glad to hear that, but it's also good to hear you're exercising as well. People think they can diet, get down to the weight they want, then stop dieting, doesn't work. I dropped 50 lbs in 4 months on the diet, plus exercising religiously everyday. There's a point you do plateau then it gets alittle harder. I plateaued at 155lbs. I started at a hefty 205 lbs.

Stay away from starchy foods like fries, potatoes, rice...that's a big no no. Plus white bread, wheat is ok. Here's what I recommend if we go to Wings and Things: Wings, but don't get the breaded strips! salad would be good too. Fusion, any meat and salad, eggs... stay away from the egg rolls Rob!

Anyhow, I'm down for either one. If we go to Wings n Things, we can still roll to Fusion afterwards. Otherwise, any other suggestions for dinner tomorrow in that area would be goo too.

Then it's good your exercising and all. It's good to see we all at one point or another can take time to fix our waist lines. I've lost almost 45 pounds since I started my diet. It's that stupid Jenny Craig my wife started me on. It works a little differently than the low carb thing. Mainly we (she) just watches the intake of foods (starches, meat, veggies) and mostly just the calorie intake throughout the day. I used to never eat breakfast the have a large lunch and dinner. Now I'm down to 1500 calories a day.

Later,

Ray

Yeah trust me I never planned to do this I guess I'm just feeling like I'm looking sloppy. I saw how much Andy lost using this so I figured I'd give it a whirl. I'm sure after a while the going to the gym part will become just another part of my day but in the beginning its such a chore. Besides its hard to find ladies that are down with the big dudes...

Good luck on that Rob, I used to weigh 240, I lost it due to a healthy diet, I take in carbs in the morning for energy, just not starchy carbs (as Andy stated), and a routine excersise. In the end it pays off.
Trust me.

Also eat in moderation, don't eat till your full. Rather eat until your satisfied enough.

If you keep at it, you'll lose a lot of weight after 2mo's

You can eat fruit, that's complex carbohydrates, your body takes longer to digest it. Simple carbs like fries, potatoes... digest fast, you'll be hungry in no time. As for soda, stay away from it, especially Diet Soda! It'll make you hungry!
