It started off as a Socal Audi/VW meet but the BMW guys randomly showed up too. The organizer wanted some diversity so he started going on the import forums and inviting all the other 'high-end' cars.
Z/G's and S2000's started showing up and so did the AWD rally cars. The Z and G guys had a pre-meet(before going to Fusion) at the SEARS/ Kmart down the street for awhile.
At one point you could find anything from old classic drift beaters, monster vettes to a race prepped Porsche GT2. It was really fun to go out.
It eventually got a little crowded since ALL makes started going to the Fusion meet. So they spread the meet out a little bit for different days of the week.
That's how it evolved in a nutshell.
I don't know how it is now since I haven't been for awhile. I believe it's more casual now than anything.

yeah I have been car pooling with the wife lately. Shes not very into the scene so no way I'm going to drag her there till 10 PM. Besides I go pick up my new cell phone tonight

ugh I want to go back out to one of these meets so bad but I've been so busy with the holidays and work and business trips and vacation. I will sincerely try to make it to one in Jan. I can't this week or next. I am in Florida the week after come back from that and a business trip to Mammoth followed by another business trip to Alaska... damn work getting in the way again.

Its an Infocus SP4805 - only 850hours of 4000 used. Bought it in March '05 for $1199 ... sellin it for $525. Free screen (106" 16:9) if you can pick it up.
