Hey Rob,
I looked at my invoice for the stereo install and they are 10W3V2. I called the shop and the change was made due to the size of the magnets on the 10W6V2. They would not have fit in the space provided. No biggie. The difference between the 2 is 300 watt max versus 400 watt max on the 10W6V2. I'm completely happy with the way they sound.

I got the rear overlays put on at this morning along with my clear bra. Had them done at MIShield in Miramar. They had a really nice Skyline R34 they were working on. To make a long story short, they were far too dark in my opinion along with the installers. They and I agreed that the rear overlays were a fix-it ticket waiting to happen. I was a little gun shy since I got a fix-it ticket for my front license plate on the way to their shop this morning. Soooo, unfortunately I had them take the overlays right off. I was able to snap a couple of pictures though.

What does everyone else think? Too dark?

Don't get me wrong. I loved the way they look and blended with the lower light overlays as well as my tinted windows. I just felt the hassle of looking over my shoulder every minute of driving was not going to be enjoyable.

I was hoping they were going to be as light as the lower overlays. Tint on white lens is good. Tint on dark red lens is very dark.
