no problem. however, when people try to "help" me, i usually charge more. HA! you clowns just get in my way.

i'm just kidding, the more the merrier. does this mean that i wont be installing your springs?

Chad

also...my room mate has a boxster as a loaner car, and we took it out for a flogging today. i have always thought that it is an ugly, poor man's porsche (plus it's gay). i will have to admit, that being a mid engine car, it was the best handling car that i have ever driven...and that is a bold statement coming from me, since i have driven, and raced a lot of stuff. even better than his 911.

i also drove a new C6 on a track at quallcomm today, and was terribly unimpressed. huge delay in power.

ok, springs are yours .... if you buy the subwoofer

regardless of the Boxster's handling .... it is still exactly what you said .... and I cannot get over that

not exactly on the same level ... but a Miata can be made to handle amazingly well (see Rob's miata drift story) ... but it is still a gayass car

Hey guys, need some advice. I just got a new job up here in Irvine so I'm congratulating myself with some rims. On to the questions:

1. I have feathering right now on my stock 17s. Will they carry over to the aftermarket rims? I don't care about the road noise, I'm just worried that I'll be changing tires more often because they will be lower profile. Plus I'm sure them tires ain't gonna be cheap.

2. 18's or 19's?

3. Rim suggestions?

Right now I'm leaning towards 18s because I don't really want to go over 2gs. Let me know what you guys think.

p.s. Anyone else's pm box freaking out? It says mine is full but there is only like 5 messages in there.

Sup Oliver,
1. i guess your mileage is too high for the feathering tsb with all that driving you've been doing? a/m wheels get the feathering just like stock. alignment is everything.
2. personal pref; 19s are slower, as you know, if that matters.
3. pick what makes you horny, baby.

my pm box is fine.
what's your new job?

you can find 19" for less than 2k (or right at 2k). i found some for $1650. i swore i would get 18's because of the ride quality, but i cant tell the difference between 19's and my stock 17's
