Anywho, happy thanksgiving to all of you, my g and z brothers! We have much to be thankful for, like having the best-looking rides on the road, and the fellowship of the "san diego z/g club"!

 

Yeah, he never fails to crack me up. I'll have to rent that movie.

 

So after the nightmare of my wheels and tires on my truck now somehow my Master Cylinder has almost no fluid in it. WTF?! I checked the calipers and lines and they appear to be fine. No signs of fluid on anything. It looks like there is some dried fluid in the engine bay but I'mnot sure. Of course no one is open until Fri so I'm really f@cked now.

 

maybe one of those 24hr mobile mechanix can help.

 

I doubt it. I found the problem. Brake fluid is leaking from the ABS contoller fittings. I filled it up with some DOT 3 and the brakes work great now. It looks like its been leaking for a LONG time. Nothing that happened today. Its definitely the fittings. I can rub the top and feel fluid. Back to the dealer I go...not till Fri though which is going to KILL my plans for Glamis.

 

better to find the problem here than there!
