Yeah, socks! Still not quite sure what that's all about, or what's funny about it, but I laugh anyways because I would feel so out of place if I didn't laugh.

Hey Jim, I'm going to head up to Snow Summit for snowboarding this weekend. Where are you going to?

No, that's too Lexusy for even my tastes, but hopefully my brother, you will soon be dying for a ride in my "riceyblingmobile" (even more than you secretly do now).

Not that anyone cares, but I had my first "incident" with Jim's Plenum. I was making a quick left hand turn on a yellow light and in the middle of the turn, I gunned it. HOLY F*ing SHHHHIITTT!!! My rear end broke loose HARD and I careened towards the opposite lane onto oncoming traffic, overcorrected to the right and careened towards the sidewalk and then corrected back to the left, at which point the car seemed to have no traction, said "holy mother..." and I squeezed those brake pads harder than I squeeze my ***** while watching a porno movie. Missed biting it hard by metaphorical inches, I would say. (I was in second gear the whole time)

TCS will be staying on for a while.

HKS Supercharger purchase delayed indefinately.

ok, now i am scared of you:

1) after a mod
2) on the boards in general
3) on the road

.... j/k dude .... you gotta be more careful man .... don't kill the car

go to a big parking lot and learn what it can do, how to control and regain control of it in case of emergency.

I would recommend a driving course; a plenum is a tiny mod, not a turbo, so it wasn't the plenum, it was your driving skills. Just be sure to wear your seatbelt, and stay away from IB
Seriously though, if you lost control with that kinda basic move, you really need to slow down, or you will become a statistic, little bro.

Thank you....it is indeed a strange world, but one I'm sure I can get used to.

Oh yeah, I think I hit a water patch...plus my tires were already wet from a previous water patch, but I thought it would have dried out by the time I made my left turn. Oh well, I'm an idiot.

But here's some good news: usually your ***** shrinks when you are under a sudden burst of extreme anxiety and stays shrunken for a while. However, I noticed that my ***** did not shrink. So it must mean that I maintained some measure of cool when I went through that incident!

Woah. That was the first time I witnessed someone editing their post!

Yeah, I think the main culprit was water, because it definately felt like I was gliding as opposed to screeching on asphalt. I've been driving butt-slow FWD cars all my life....I'm not used to sudden momentum shifts.

That's because my ***** wants to close escrow on a vagina, preferably in a white, gated community.

how's your tread on your rears? my car slides much easier when the tread is low. maybe time for new tires?
Wait, you punched it on a wet corner with your tcs off? Not good judgement.

this car will slide like there is no tomorrow ... once the tires break loose (hence the name) you have NO traction ... you are sliding .. not slipping or screeching

Yah, I think my tires were wet, there were a lot of random wet spots on the road. Not good judgment, you're right. I promise I will be a good boy so Santa can give me a UR underdrive pulley for Christmas!

Plus, I am not as well endowed as you 19 inch guys. I'm only 17 inches
